We most commonly inject dermal fillers in the lips, cheeks, chin, and forehead to plump up the skin and create a lively appearance.
Kybella is a type of Dermal Filler we offer that is specifically designed to treat submental fullness, also known as a “double chin.” Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, a molecule that is naturally produced by the body. This molecule breaks down dietary fat. Multiple sessions may be required in order to produce the desired effects.

What Can I Expect?
Pain
Our team at YMD makes an active effort to prioritize your comfort and ensure little to no pain can be expected throughout the procedure. Our team employs gentle and highly effective numbing techniques, and as a result, our patients are surprised by the lack of pain during their injection.
Recovery
Patients may experience redness and/or swelling after the procedure. Limit your exposure to the sun or heat until redness and swelling fully subsides. Avoid lying down or having any direct contact with the treated areas for at least six to eight hours after receiving injections to prevent migration or displacement.
Results
Dermal Fillers increase volume and ultimately restore our face’s natural proportions. Results may take around a week to show peak results. This procedure is known to boost our patients’ confidence as we work to shift your focus away from age lines and wrinkles to what you like about your unique facial features.
