What Can I Expect?
Pain
This procedure is relatively painless. You can expect to feel an intense cold at the beginning of the procedure as the area goes numb. Many patients relate it to feeling as if you had ice on your skin. YMD will provide you with a gel pad to minimize discomfort. After your procedure, you will receive a moderately pressured massage to dissolve the remaining fat.
Recovery
You can expect to have a quick recovery with Coolsculpting as there is little to no downtime for this procedure. Some patients report feeling minor cramps or a numbing feeling post-treatment which typically resolves after a couple of days. Results
Subcutaneous fat will be reduced for up to six and nine years post-treatment. You will notice results from your treatment about one to three months after the treatment. Over the weeks following your procedure, your body will naturally eliminate dead fat cells. Coolsculpting eliminates up to twenty to twenty-five percent of treated fat cells.
